Before beginning my training with my strength coach Madison, I had already tried two different powerlifting programs. Then 8 months ago, I started the first phase of my Mastodon strength program, and it has been quite a journey.  At first it was very difficult as it was completely different style from my normal training with much more volume.Adjusting was a challenge, but eventually as time went on,

I felt more endurance and strength.  Many weeks hitting a new personal record on big lifts was all the proof I needed for how effective this program is.  My powerlifts have been going up over the last few months and I've never been stronger. The program is BEYOND WORTH IT.

Madison has truly changed the way I think about health and fitness! I avoided using the weight room, squat rack, etc. because it seemed intimidating to me. I stuck to cardio machines and HIIT classes because it was easy and burned a lot of calories. I tried my hardest to stick to 1200 calories a day because I assumed that was what I needed to do to lose weight. It blows my mind to have seen my body completely tone itself in two weeks thanks to Madison removing the daunting stigma of weight rooms, working one-on-one with me to build a program that brings me closer to my goals, and creating a diet plan that easily explains how to track macros. I will continue to work with Madison because he is encouraging and attentive. Thanks so much!!

In just a month working with Madison as my coach, I saw great results. My goal was to go up in weight while being as lean as possible. In a month I gained 5 pounds and was lean and vascular as ever. It was easily possible with his coaching and diet plan. With Madison’s guidance and attention to detail, All of my lifts increased rapidly. Not only did the weight feel much better on my body when performing the lifts, but the finely tuned form gave me the mind muscle connection that I was lacking. This new mind muscle fostered a noticeable gain in size in my chest and arms after only 1 month.  After having to stop my  programming due to personal reasons he still reaches out and helps me whenever I need it. Not only is he a great coach, he is a great person in general.

Madison changed the way I thought about strength and fitness. I was under the impression women couldn’t be strong without looking a certain way. I stayed with my cardio and my at home work out plans which allowed me to hide. I knew I needed to challenge myself, but I didn’t know how. After a brief conversation with Madison, I was sold. Within a month I was down 16lbs, but more importantly I was stronger, and even more confident in the gym environment…. No longer hiding. I was failing my body by not allowing it to be as powerful as it could be. Today I physically and mentally feel and see a difference. I cannot recommend Madison’s coaching enough. He’s an excellent teacher that allows you to ask questions and learn, he is very responsive to the point it feels like he’s physically there with you every step of the way. You won’t find a better coach!
